2021 is the year to visit Namibia! See the country as it has not been seen in over 10 years, bursting with colour and energy.
Namibia has experienced exceptional rainfall this year, resulting in unique landscapes not usually experienced in this dry country. At the start of 2021, the tropical storm Chalane brought large amounts of rain across Namibia. The last abundant rains fell in 2011!
Rain is a celebration in Namibia, usually arid and dry areas are now filled up with water, creating a natural spectacle. The welcomed water has given life to plants, agriculture, wildlife, and lush green landscapes.
Visit Namibia in 2021 to experience:
Full watering holes in the national parks and once dry rivers flowing with water, attracting an array of wildlife.
Flamingos frequenting the replenished water holes in Bushmanland.
Take a road trip through the lush and muddy landscape.
Marvel at the desert landscape, now flowing with water. Both Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon are filled with rainwater and the dry, salt, and clay Etosha pan is a watery sight.
Namibia’s new and largest dam, the Neckartel dam which opened in 2019, is overflowing from the rain!

Cancellations less than 30 days prior to travel will be dealt with on a case by case basis. We undertake to follow all possible avenues to keep any potential cancellation fees to a minimum. Postponements of any such cancelled reservations will always be first priority. Proof in the form of a medical certificate for the affected persons will be required. Please ensure that all clients have adequate travel insurance.
