What we’ve been up to

Scouting for hidden gems in Lesotho!

Lesotho is a tiny landlocked Kingdom in Southern Africa. It is a similar size to Belgium and has a population of 2 million. It has made it onto the NY Times Top Destinations list for 2020.

Frikkie and Louise recently visited Lesotho to discover unique sites.

First up was the Liphofung Historical Site. It includes a cave that has an important place in Lesotho’s history. The cave was used by San people, and so it contains rock art and Stone Age implements. They found the tour very interesting, looking at the rock art was an amazing experience.

The Sani Mountain Pass is a must-visit! Driving up to the Sani Mountain Lodge is a harrowing experience but the view is well worth it. Having a drink at 2874m above sea level, you have one foot in South Africa and the other in Lesotho!
