Uganda
Uganda is a good destination to experience wildlife viewing in both forest and savannah.
A highlight would be gorilla tracking in Bwindi; while chimps can be easily spotted in Kibale Forest.
Good wildlife viewing can also be found in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls National Parks although animals are not as abundant compared to parks in East or Southern Africa.

Highlights
- Bwindi Impenetrable Reserve – tracking endangered mountain gorillas
- Kibale Forest – chimpanzee tracking

Best Time To Visit
June to August and December to February are the best times for gorilla trekking because these are the drier months. In the savannah reserves vegetation is less and animals gather around water points.
March to May and September to November, wet season, the countryside is greener with plenty of newborn animals.
